If this becomes a race issue (as Blagojevich clearly hopes it does) then it will be hard to find a jury that will vote unanimously to convict. The O.J. Simpson Principle is at work here - find a racial angle that will result in a hung jury. Democrats are experts in playing upon racial and ethnic hatreds for political gain.
