The left in general and Ameican liberals in particular claim to be tolerant and inclusive but it has been my observation that they are some of the most anti-semitic people around. The USSR followed that format, as well. While claiming to be for all people, the Communist Party actively discriminated against Jews. Jews could not be members of the party even if they denounced their religion - not even if their family hadn't been practicing Jews for several generations. More and more, I am coming to suspect that the much-vaunted Dutch "tolerance" has less to do with morality and a lot to do with indifference and not wanting to be inconvenienced.
