The Moon And Ski Pants
Vail, Colorado saw an early moon rise last Friday. A man managed to fall out of his ski lift chair, but luckily did not fall to the slopes below. Instead, one of his skis and his ski pants snagged and left him hanging from the lift. Bare bottomed, but unhurt.
With his boot remaining securely in its binding, his pants appeared to have also been caught in the lift as he fell - leaving him utterly exposed.
The many tourists in the crowded ski resort promptly whipped out their cameras.
He was stuck in the undignified position for about 15 minutes before Vail personnel were able to back the lift up and rescue him, according to The Smoking Gun website.
Ah, modern life. Instead of rushing to help, folks rush to get pictures and post them on the web. We could make several cracks here, but the poor guy has suffered enough.
