Not In A Forgiving Mood

Andrew Breitbart is in no mood to forgive and forget. After eight long years of unabashed, deranged Bush hatred, Hollywood types are now singing the praises of everybody getting along. Breitbart is having none of it.

Many of the celebrities that were central to demonizing and making life impossible for President Bush for eight loathsome years NOW want to help with the heavy lifting of bringing America back together under President Barack Obama.

Witness Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s cavalcade of shiny, happy situational patriots appearing in a derivative public servitude announcement: A “Presidential Pledge” to President Barack Obama.

Forgive and forget? Right.

President Bush was not holding back Moore from “free[ing] one million people from slavery in the next five years.” Nor was he holding back the Obama-biquitous Will.I.Am from “chang[ing] how [he] live[s].” Ditto: Aaron Ekhart (”To be a better person,”) Marisa Tomei (”To integrate into my heart what I already know in my head which is that we are all in this together,”) Kutcher (”To the abolition to 21st century slavery,”) Anthony Kiedis (”To be of service to Barack Obama,”) P. Diddy (” pledge to turn the lights off, cause I used to leave the lights on but we want to conserve energy so I’ma turn the lights off, you turn the lights off,) and all-in-unison (”Because together we can, together we are, and together we will be the change that we seek.”)

As I have long noted, there was a relentless cavalcade of “stars” whining about how they were being suppressed – doing so on nationwide television. That is some silencing. Read the whole thing, Breitbart is relentless. He’s pledging that he will be equally relentless in making fun of these “stars” in the future. Good for him. So will I. They deserve it. Their sudden conversion to loving America after years of publicly loathing it deserves every bit of disrespect that rational people can muster.

Andrew is so correct. These self important wind bags have exposed their true souls. Now they can wave their flags and feel patriotic. I am most impressed by the mindless starlet who declared how difficult the job of President was, how much he needed to be supported. Ah, excuse me, didn’t that same idea apply to GWB in ‘00 and ‘04???? And the other idiot, proclaiming the need to serve Obama. The last time I read the Constitution, the President serves the people, not the other way around. We have a democratic republic, not a monarchy in this country, but you would be hard pressed to know that reading the MSM.

I recall that GWB didn’t get one day of honeymoon from the media or the left, but somehow, now all good conservatives are supposed to support the new president and wish him success. I wish his total failure. His ideas have been known for a long time, they are NOT good for this country. So, in the spirit of dissent (remember, dissent is the highest form of patriotism, so says the left for the last 8 years), I intend to dissent continuously, I intend to demonize, as the left did, B. Hussein, I intend to hate him and all his ideas, I intend to damn everything he does, and I intend to never give him on ounce of approval for whatever he does. What goes around, comes around.

    Ah, celebrities.
The last movie I saw was “3″.
6 months ago, I exercised my 2nd Amendment right on the television set, with a .38 special. Yep, 2 in the screen, 1 in the remote.
Obama can go to Hell on a government train.

The vitriol splashed about by the left wing nutroots for the last eight years appears to be splashing back in their faces. There are apparently an awful lot of people who are not willing to give them any slack whatsoever now that their Chosen One is in office. To quote Rev. (not so) Wright, “The chickens are coming home to roost!”

This fake “Era of Good Feelings” will last until the Messiah’s poll ratings start to drop. Afterwards, the Far Left will start the everyone-who-disagrees-with-Obama-is-a-racist crapola again.
