   One wonders if these tea parties are having an effect on the political landscape or if they are merely an exercise in venting frustration, and/or an exercise in futility?

   feeblemind, I think probably the later. After all, we are talking about liberal Democrats here. If the protest is against their actions they’ll just assume it’s a bunch of far right malcontents clinging to their guns and religion. In other words, nobody important.

   Has glenn reynolds ever taken time to GOTV or protest anti-American activists or attended pro-troop rallies or does he sit in his Tenured-Protected-Class opining about the efforts of those
   who actually do the work he is to arrogant and self-righteous to do?

   Tenure is Class Protectionism, end the practice.
