Send Links Of Fish To The White House!

Hey, this is a good idea! Send fish to the White House!

Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

We heartily endorse the sending of links of fish, especially crappie, to the White House!

You heard it here first. Send them the link to crappie – since that is what they are pushing. Crappy health care.

This is a gross abuse of the power of the presidency, a gross waste of our money and completely out of touch with the realities of governance. Send them the link to crappie. Give ‘em what they want – tell them what you think of them and their plan.

Via Memeorandum.

Like minded bloggers, please pick up this meme and get those emails swarming at the White House Office of Propaganda and Citizen Informants. Nail them with this.

UPDATE: My email:

As a concerned citizen and hopefully soon to be paid informant, I am happy to send you a link that appears to describe the White House health care plan.

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.

UPDATE: Many, many thanks to those who have linked this post. Please also remember the new White House slogan: Hope! Change! Inform!

For Heaven’s Sake

Go read The Anchoress. I will not even begin to try to improve on that post.

Target Rich Environment

The GOP is targeting some 70 currently Democrat-held Congressional seats in 2010:

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has identified 70 Democrats to target for the 2010 election, according to an email obtained by AOL Politics Daily. Many of the targeted members are Democratic freshmen and sophomores from conservative districts.

The email sent from an NRCC staffer to Republican PACs says that “we have the opportunity to focus on many more districts and some unusual districts that haven’t been targeted in a long time.” The email with the list of targeted districts appears at the bottom of this page.

Currently the GOP has 178 seats, so the party would need to win 40 more to regain the majority, but Republicans see the momentum moving in their direction. “Many Democrats are on the defense in their districts now,” said the NRCC’s eCampaign Director, John Randall. Speaking metaphorically, he said, “Our goal is to get as many seaworthy boats in the water, so, if a great wind comes along, we will have the push to cross the finish line.”

Please read the whole thing. The article notes that a number of those targeted are already in real trouble back home over the out-of-control spending, support for ObamaCare and especially over their Pelosi-led suicide pact over the crap and tax bill.

I noted that disturbing (for Democrats) trend a month ago. Since then, real grass roots protests at Democrat’s town hall meetings have broken out, applying even more pressure.  Democrats in traditionally conservative districts will come under ever-growing pressure while back home for the recess. Heck, Democrats from traditional Democrat strongholds will be under greater pressure.

This is getting very, very interesting.

A great slogan for the push would be simple, straightforward and roll off the tongue easily. Something like, say:

“40 in ‘10!”
