All Propaganda, All The Time
An absolute fraud of breathtaking proportions. MSNBC carefully edits video in such a way that it obscures the fact that a man openly carrying weapons at an Obama appearance happens to be an African-American. Then its hosts rant about “white people showing up with guns.”
I missed this yesterday at Newsbusters but Treacher, rightly aghast, tipped me to it this afternoon. Never will you see a starker example of MSNBC getting away with the sort of deception for which Fox News would be pilloried, especially in the context of race. If you missed Monday’s post about this, go watch the footage (or look at this photo) and see if you can deduce why they wouldn’t want to show the guy with the rifle from the neck up during this particular segment.
This is beyond that point where propaganda begins. This is the deliberate twisting of fact – outright lying about the facts – and making a news event into something it was not.

CNN actually got it right, with less anti-gun sentiment than ABC although they were to skeered to go interview the “white man with a gun” themselves.

Just what Walter did 59 years ago when he started his “Ugly American”, “news” series. But I think he worked at CBS. After almost 60 years who can remember.
The MSM/Press has not changed in 6 decades that’s for sure.

And this surprises anyone? The DPMP has been willing to twist their reports and lie for their Obamessiah for alomost 2 years now. They edit the other way, as well. Let’s not forget the extreme editing of both the Charlie Gibson and Katie Kouric interviews with Sarah Palin. This is why I have stopped referring to the Mainstream Media in preference for my new title for them, the Democratic Party Ministry of Propaganda (DPMP).
