It’s Global

The Daily Mail calls it “up to two million” at the 9/12 rally in Washington. Apparently, they are quite willing to do the job American journalists are not.

Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today, carrying signs with slogans such as “Obamacare makes me sick” as they protested the president’s health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.
The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.

People were chanting “enough, enough” and “We the People.” Others yelled “You lie, you lie!” and “Pelosi has to go,” referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

This is a huge turnout. Congress had better be worried. Things like this do not get better for the politicians. They only get worse.

The sleeping giant is awake now.

(At some point – and I think that point is very close now – the American media’s continued malpractice will lead to a complete collapse of any semblance of any credibility. Their willful under-reporting of the sheer numbers is being exposed by media across the pond. You’re in real trouble, guys.)

I just heard ABC radio “news” say that 10’s of thousands of people protested today in DC (6:00 pm PDT, and now 7:00 pm). However, at 7:00 pm they did quote some of the signs, but still massively down played the size of the crowd.

I did not expect ABC to report honestly, but this is pretty bad and sad, but still expected. The MSM will do all they can make Saint Obama look good, popular, concerned and caring, and forward thinking, and over all, a saint.

Re huge turnout: Only in my dreams did I expect it would be this big.

I am real proud of my fellow Tea Party Patriots from Florida’s First Coast who make the trip! There are many of us who were unable to go-had to work, illness, finances, etc.
Our First Coast Tea Party.org even had a mock schooner, “The Dartmouth”

I was off in the boonies all weekend, and so missed the reportage. Lefties are of course downplaying the numbers, and those on the right stretching them. 2 million? I don’t think so. 50 thousand? WAY low.

A rough analysis of the webcam video gave me a count of 250-400K on the march, which doesn’t count people who joined the event throughout the day and were not in the march. I think a lower estimate of 400K is reasonable, a million vaguely possible but unlikely, and more than that very unlikely.

The organizers had been expecting 25-50K. I’d say they exceeed their expectations by an order of magnitude, which is HUGE. No need to pump it ridiculously higher, as the lefties so love to do.
