From An ACORN, A Mighty Oak Of Scandal

Yet another ACORN office gave business advice to a couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute. Not just any advice, either. ACORN staffers gave advice on setting up a brothel featuring underaged girls imported into the US.

Ed Morrisey writes:

Obviously, O’Keefe told them about the pimping and the prostitution. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have responded with these kind of specifics.

Of course, ACORN knows this – which is why they fired the four women from the first two incidents. That will make it pretty hard for ACORN to sue anyone, since the first question asked will be, “Why did you fire these women if the tape was faked?” As John Fund also points out, a lawsuit will allow for both sides to demand internal documents for discovery purposes, and right now it looks like ACORN has a lot more to lose in that transaction than O’Keefe.

ACORN is threatening lawsuits – THAT will be enormous fun, as Ed points out.

Big Government is going after ACORN hammer and tongs. Check out the front page.

ACORN is taking serious damage right now – all self-inflicted. If Big Government was able to catch them with something like this – three times so far – what else are they up to that is illegal, immoral or worse?

Cut these people off from government money – right now.

I still don’t know if there’s a RICO possibility with those folks. Anyone else asking that question out there?

The Repubs need to start pressuring for an investigation and loudly proclaiming every instance of foot-dragging that appears.
