Screening No Promise Of Better Care

Preventative medicine is touted by Barack Obama as a big cost-saver. Despite the fact that the Congressional Budget Office has shown that not to be the case. But there is another problem in that approach, as well. As some 18 women in Britain have found out.

Eighteen patients were wrongly given the all-clear from breast cancer, it emerged yesterday.

The women have been informed that a bungling consultant missed signs of their disease during routine screening.

They are now undergoing debilitating treatment but doctors admit the delay might have harmed their survival chances.

The rogue radiologist failed to carry out proper tests on at least 85 patients over three years.
New checks resulted in 14 women finding they were in fact suffering from breast cancer. Another four are in the early stages of the disease.

The hospital concerned – Accrington Victoria in Lancashire – has refused to reveal any details about the consultant.

And, highly unusually, it failed to publicise the fact that hundreds of cases were being reviewed.

The story does not indicate what the problem is here. Was it a bad doctor, a too large caseload, time pressure? We have no idea.

But ask yourself this: How will the exact same number of doctors, nurses, support staff and facilities care for an additional 30 million (revised downward by excluding illegal immigrants included in the original 49 million claimed as an excuse for ObamaCare) care for you, your family and all those extra people without suffering a lapse in quality?

How can they do that while promising better preventative care for everyone at lower cost and higher quality?

You are being sold a bill of goods, people. This cannot be done. This is a lie – a vey, very big lie.

What if Obama appeared on all the Sunday morning news programs (except FOX news) and nobody watched him, would he still make a sound?

What about Obama’s offer of free Bud for all white guys?
