Snowe Cave

Olympia Snowe gives one solitary Republican vote for the Baucus nebulous list of things that might or might not actually constitute a bill – and Obama calls the train wreck for America a bipartisan success. Yeesh.

“Today we reached a critical milestone in our efforts to reform our health care system, the president said this afternoon,” speaking from the White House Rose Garden.

Although the bill drew an “aye” vote from one Republican senator, President Obama touted the bill as a proposal having both “Democratic and Republican support.”

“After the consideration of hundreds of amendments, it includes ideas from both Democrats and Republicans, which is why it enjoys the support of people from both parties,” he said.

The president thanked in particular the senator who cast the lone Republican vote, Sen. Olympia Snowe from Maine.

Name two, Barry. Oh, that’s right. You can’t. And whatever the Baucus “bill” is now, it will look entirely different when Harry Reid is done tinkering with it. So get ready to push back – keep pushing back. Do not let this monstrosity be forced down your throat, America.

This is a pill we must not take.

Our economy is on life support. This health care “reform” will euthanize it completely.

Sen. Snowe is now backpedaling a bit. She is now saying that she could withdraw her support for the bill IF it goes farther left in its contents. If? Like there is any question? She’s just making excuses for her flip flop that’s coming.
