Michael Steele has committed the Republican National Committee to backing Doug Hoffman in NY-23:
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele quickly endorsed Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman in New York’s 23rd congressional district Saturday, after Republican Dede Scozzafava’s late decision to drop out of the special election.
Steele, who formally endorsed Scozzafava earlier this week, commended her decision to bow out of the race.
Steele has promised both money and GOTV efforts on the ground. Good move.

The State of California has decided it is ok to take more money from our paychecks even if that amount is above and beyond what we owe. They believe it is ok to simply take whatever they want from our paychecks with no guarantee they will have the money to pay us back. Will they pay it back with INTEREST in cash and not an IOU?

Not one damn thing. That is, in fact, exactly what they are saying to taxpayers.
From those according to their ability to be taxed, to those according to their compulsion to spend, unencumbered by representation and enforced by law.
On topic: news from Watertown is Scozzafava is urging her voters toward Owens, the Democrat. This is not the happy talk coming out of the GOP. They want to kiss Conservatives and pretend to make up, but the scorned woman is running true to type.
