Grim News From Texas

Greyhawk:

4:12 CST: ABC News: Shooter: Major Malik Nadal Hasan. ABC does not name a source for this information.

04:31 CST: Independent sources confirm a soldier by that name is stationed at Hood.

News conference, 3:50 CST, Lieutenant General Robert Cone: “One shooter killed – he was a soldier. Two other soldiers apprehended, they are suspects. (Eyewitnesses indicate more than one shooter, all soldiers.) Twelve dead, 31 wounded. All casualties took place in initial incident at 13:30 CST. ‘Primary shooter’ had two hand guns.”

Wait for details. This does not sound good. Please say a prayer for the families of the soldiers killed or wounded in this foul act.

UPDATE: KWTX, Waco, Texas:

Cone said all the casualties occurred at about 1:30 a.m. at the base’s Soldier Readiness Center in the post’s Sports Dome where soldiers who are about to be deployed or who are returning undergo medical screening.

He said the primary shooter used two handguns in the attack.

Witnesses, however, said more than one soldier opened fire.

Earlier reports indicated there were shootings in at least two separate locations, but Cone said all of the victims were in the processing center.

One of the dead is a civilian police officer, Fort Hood confirmed.

Say a freakin’ prayer for those fine adherents of the religion. Turn their fracking countries into fused glass. Mecca? Kaaba? NADA.

EDIT: Comment rules violation. This is your only warning.

The Religion of Peace strikes again. Wait and see how the religious affiliation of the shooters is downplayed and minimized. They sure weren’t Baptists.

The shooter will be portrayed as a “victim” of the evil military empire. There will be mandatory training for all military in tolerance and respect for the fellow Muslim.

Minor correction: This all went down at 1:30 PM. There would have been no one there at 1:30 AM.
