Visiting The Elephant

There are more folks than just William Shatner caught in their underwear by this:

The media and the left (redundant, I know) fear Sarah Palin for a reason. She can connect with people.

Well now, doesn’t she just put Tina Fey to shame.

Some are inclined to slam her for doing something like this.

What I see is that it gives her more confidence, I believe something that was detectable to be lacking, at times, during the 2008 campaign. For all her backbone she still could come off as nervous. The more she gets herself out there the more comfortable she gets.

Maggie’s right. Make believe Captian Kirk thought mocking Caribou Barbie was easy publicity, but the real Sarah Palin suddenly materialized and made a monkey out of the mealy mouthed fat fool.

Every time old media, Democrats, or GOP insiders try to marginalize her and fail, Sarah Palin gets stronger, and better prepared. She’s an authentic phenomenon, a real American who can stand up to the Washington DC political establishment and their lapdog press, and beat the crooked jerks at their own game.

Sarah Palin is the real thing, actually she’s even better than the real thing.

Ace of Spades reports the whole entire exchange was rehearsed.

  4. ropelight says:

feeby, I know O’Brien, Palin, and the musicians had to be in on it, but I wanted to believe that Shatner was ambushed. I’m still not sure one way or the other. Thanks for the heads-up.

  5. Gaius says:

I didn’t think it wasn’t rehearsed. Most things to do with politics are.

My point is that Palin connects. Did you hear the audience reaction?

  6. ropelight says:

Sarah Palin connects, and she does it in spades. That girl has the magic touch. Yes, Giaus, the audience reaction caught O’Brien and Shatner off guard, their faces only barely managed to conceal the surprise.

The Left has so demonized Plain, they’re now incapable of seeing beyond their artificial construct to the broad reality of her appeal. They’re gonna get hit, and hit hard, and they ain’t gonna see it comin’.

  7. feeblemind says:

I agree with your point Gaius.

  8. Maggie says:

Gaius: “My point is that Palin connects. Did you hear the audience reaction?”

Which is why the left and the leftist MSM HATE her so much. And politicians too, dems and repubs.

She’s “in touch” and they are so far out of touch with the American people.
