Me, Too

Michael Goodwin:

I am afraid — actually, certain — we are losing the heart and soul that made America unique in human history. Yes, we have enemies, but the greatest danger comes from within.

Watching the freak show in Copenhagen last week, I was alternately furious and filled with dread. The world has gone absolutely bonkers and lunatics are in charge.

Mugabe and Chavez are treated with respect and the United Nations is serious about wanting to regulate our industry and transfer our wealth to kleptocrats and genocidal maniacs.

Even more frightening, our own leaders joined the circus. Marching to the beat of international drummers, they uncoupled themselves from the will of the people they were elected to serve.

There is a lot more, please go read it all.

Like Goodwin, I am afraid – especially for my children. The face no longer being citizens but subjects. The state will rule everything they do from cradle to grave. Liberty is dying.

Goodwin now regrets voting for Obama’s bait and switch. I hope enough others also do so that we can throw the Democrats out in 2010. Take the House and Senate both and be able to stand against the increasingly autocratic Obama – before it is too late.

“Goodwin now regrets voting for Obama’s bait and switch.”

Now they regret it. Anyone who was dumb enough to vote for Obama is still too dumb to realize their mistake. Goodwin’s only regret is that the socialist agenda hasn’t been fully implemented and is facing a stiff headwind from the would-be slaves.

The trick is not just to throw the Democrats out, but to replace them with individuals who will actually work to hack away at the monstrosity D.C. has become.

Just replacing them with old school, party line Republicans isn’t going to cut it.

Replace the corrupt with insurgent Conservatives like West, Rubio and Williams(TX)

    Keep Inhofe, Coburn and DeMint.

    Go Sarah Palin

    Go away Mitt Romney.

“guy” is right. The present GOP Establishment is just as leftist as the Democrat Party is. They are pushing the likes of Dede Scozzofava, Charlie Crist, Mark Kirk, and Mike Castle. In NJ conservatives are going to come to rue the day they celebrated Chris Christie’s victory last November.

In the so-called red state of Texas GOP Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison is running for governor and is making the usual leftist grunts about the need for the GOP to be “inclusive” (read: left-wing). Her opponent, governor Rick Perry, is a big-spending Democrat-turned-Republican.

The ball is in the GOP’s court. If they want to win elections they can join the Conservative Movement, or they can continue to lose to the Democrats.

The GOP has a real choice, either join with the American people or continue to play second banana to a pack of jackasses.
