New Year’s Eve

The plans my wife and I had for this evening fell through. So we are staying home and just threw dinner into the oven (the screaming ended after a few minutes). My youngest boy is watching a Twilight Zone marathon (the original series). My youngest daughter is hiding out in her basement abode.

All quiet at the Crabitat.

To all my readers, may you have a safe and happy New Year’s Eve. Please be careful if you venture out.

May next year be better than 2009 for you and yours.

Happy Gnu Beer to you and yours, Gaius.

Didn’t you know you’re supposed to hit dinner over the head BEFORE trying to throw it in the oven? Otherwise you have to stand there and hold the door shut until it quits struggling.

Youngest boy enjoying a Twilight Zone marathon, eh? Sounds like he takes after the Old Man. Hee hee hee. Happy New Year.

I too stayed home, had a nice crab and shrimp casserole along with a bottle of California Champagne. Early to bed, up now and feelin’ pretty good, considering, and gettin’ ready for some football.

    Best Regards to all,

Gaius, may the new year bring your family and you much joy and contentment. We stayed home, toasted surviving another rocky year, and gave thanks for being blessed. 2010 is going to be another hard one, but we’ll get through it together.
