The secret, hidden “negotiations” on the health care bill are, apparently, the “change” Obama promised.
A change back to smoke-filled rooms, arm-twisting and backroom bribery.
There is too much blatant lying, too much not-even-hidden skulduggery, too much obvious double-dealing. Far too little media interest in any of that.
Be worried, people. Be very worried.
Of course Obama has no power to dictate to Congress to conduct the negotiations transparently. If the Press hadn’t been so busy performing fella…errr kissing his butt during the campaign, they could have called him on this. It was obviously a lie at the time and it sailed over everyone’s heads.
