We Walked On The Moon.

Once. Actually several times. Every. Single. Human. Who. Walked. On. The. Moon. Was. An. American.

Remember their names. For they will be the last if Barack Obama and his sleazy, greedy crew of mendacious munchkins get their way. In fact, we will not be able to support – or even reach – the International Space Station that we – the only nation that could build such a construct in space – built.

The NASA budget is only $18.7 billion – not even noise on the system in the profligate waste of a $1.35 trillion deficit that the Obama administration is spending. But reaching the moon – or even near earth orbit – will not be funded by the Wizard and his minuscule minions.

When the White House releases its budget proposal Monday, there will be no money for the Constellation program that was to return humans to the moon by 2020. The Ares I rocket that was to replace the space shuttle to ferry humans to space will be gone, along with money for the Ares V cargo rocket that was to launch the fuel and supplies needed to return to the moon. There will be no lunar landers, no moon bases.

“We certainly don’t need to go back to the moon,” one administration official said.

Instead, according to White House insiders, agency officials, industry executives and congressional sources familiar with Obama’s plans, NASA will look at developing a “heavy-lift” rocket that one day will take humans and robots to explore beyond low-Earth orbit. That day will be years away.

John Kennedy sent us to the moon. He understood that greatness takes effort and vision.

Barack Obama, less than 50 years later, took the moon away.

Kennedy would be appalled at the tiny, little man with his tiny, little ambitions that now occupies the office Kennedy once held.

We walked on the moon once.

I honestly think this is a throw-away line that Obambi expects to be over-ruled by Congress. That way, he can claim to be saving money without doing anything.
