Training The Guns Inboard

Apparently, the Wizard of 0 is not satisfied with alienating just part of the population. He wants absolute perfection – even if that means making his base hate his guts:

President Barack Obama said he doesn’t “begrudge” the $17 million bonus awarded to JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon or the $9 million issued to Goldman Sachs Group Inc. CEO Lloyd Blankfein, noting that some athletes take home more pay.

The president, speaking in an interview, said in response to a question that while $17 million is “an extraordinary amount of money” for Main Street, “there are some baseball players who are making more than that and don’t get to the World Series either, so I’m shocked by that as well.”

“I know both those guys; they are very savvy businessmen,” Obama said in the interview yesterday in the Oval Office with Bloomberg BusinessWeek, which will appear on newsstands Friday. “I, like most of the American people, don’t begrudge people success or wealth. That is part of the free- market system.”

Obama sought to combat perceptions that his administration is anti-business and trumpeted the influence corporate leaders have had on his economic policies. He plans to reiterate that message when he speaks to the Business Roundtable, which represents the heads of many of the biggest U.S. companies, on Feb. 24 in Washington.

This is absurd, even for the notoriously two-faced Wizard. Only days ago he was railing about fat cat Wall Street types. (Of course, that was before he needed their political money.)  Frankly, this man is nothing more than a snake oil salesman, trying desperately to have it both ways.

He wants to claim a populist mantle, but also needs the big money Wall Street gave him. Hence the bash and suck up to routine. He wants bipartisanship – while bashing Republicans at every turn. He wants a troop surge in Afghanistan while simultaneously ordering a withdrawal. He demands Guantanamo be closed in one year then says “not really”. He touts a trial for the masterminds of 9/11 in New York City, then tries to slide out from under that promise. He wants a pubic option then doesn’t. He cannot make up his mind about anything.

If you asked this man, “Paper or plastic” he would literally tie up the checkout line for months.

But maybe, just maybe the left is beginning to catch on. This man is a mess. This man is a fraud. This super-genius is not competent. This fake Wizard and his “best and brightest” collection of minuscule, maladroit, mendacious munchkins collectively could not find their butts with both hands.

He’s not clueless. He’s Clue-Proof™. Want proof? He is already desperately trying to run from the fallout of his interview.

He’s trained the cannon inboard and is rapidly sinking the base.

    “minuscule, maladroit, mendacious munchkins”

    Great alliteration, Gaius!

Obama has put the Democrat Party in a no-win situation, and every time he’s had an opportunity to move to the center and accomplish something good for America, he’s either ignored it, botched it, or doubled down on the wrong policies.

With 3 years left in his term, we’re faced with a very difficult problem: How to endure this once popular false prophet while limiting his ability to inflict massive damage on our nation. So far, he’s built an early lead, but we’ve dealt him some hard blows, slowed him down, unmasked his duplicitous agenda, and split his supporters.

So far, so good, and we’re getting stronger and more united every day. If the Republicans in Congress can hold the line on healthcare, Cap and Trade, and the so-called Jobs Bill till the 2010 elections, the voters will reward the GOP with enough new members to stop Obama and begin to turn things around.

Well, Gaius, they are quite a bit slow on the uptake … which is why they ARE his base (no ‘retarded’ joke in there … just blind socialist following syndrome)

I guess it is no coincidence that Dimon and Blankfein are big Democratic contributors.

All kinda wrong. His mind is soldered into place; he's just running into the, depending how you look at it, the rust or goose crap that makes major motion in DC such an idiot enterprise if you never actually did anything in that environment.

Everybody gives Barry big props for the 2-4 speech; nobody can show where ever in his life he actually did a damn thing.

I looked up “nincompoop” in the dictionary and all I found was a great big O.
