More Traction For The Bus

The bus leaves at nine, be under it. Obama casually tosses Charlie Rangel under the bus for a little more traction:

“I think Charlie Rangel served a very long time and served– his constituents very well. But these– allegations are very troubling,” Obama told Harry Smith in an interview to be aired on the “Early Show.” and first broadcast on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.

“And he’ll– he’s somebody who’s at the end of his career. Eighty years old. I’m sure that– what he wants is to be able to– end his career with dignity. And my hope is that– it happens. “

ObamaCare comes for Charlie. Just take the pills, Chuck.  You’re old and the won is tired of you.

Obviously, Obama is VERY worried about what will come out if Rangel comes to trial on his ethics charges.

Fortunately for America, it is only three months until a rather large number of the won’s enablers are given retirement with “dignity”. And just over two years until the same “dignity” is handed to the won.

(Note: I have no sympathy for Rangel. He’s as crooked as they get and fully deserves to be dragged through the ethics process.  But Obama has just signaled what his enablers can expect in the way of support in the upcoming elections. That would be nothing.)

Old Charlie may be long in the tooth, and well past his best, but he can still kick hard enough to knock a lightweight pretender on his arrogant rear end.

Barack Obama has a closet full of restless skeletons just waiting for an old dog like Charlie to start barking loud enough to wake the the Republic’s professional watchdogs.

Obama may have overestimated his own clout, and underestimated an old dragon’s capacity for revenge.

Charlie will be around after Barry’s gone.
