Constitution? What Constitution?

Representative Pete Stark (D(eranged) – California) explains that the Federal Government can do whatever it wants with no recourse to the constitution of the United States:

This should a) make you very angry and b) want you to make sure that people who think this way never write laws in the United States.

If you are not registered to vote, rectify that immediately. Make sure your family and friends are also registered and plan on voting.

If we do not get people like this out of office as soon as possible, we will be in even more trouble than we are already in.

Get organized, get serious.

    Crosspatch, what you must realize is that here in California, our districts are so jerrymandered, that there is only ONE district in the entire state that has a chance of flipping, and that is Ca-11. Only ONE district in the entire huge state, and for that we can blame both Democrats and Republicans who all wanted to hold onto what is theirs (or so they think). CA-11 is a traditionally Republican district that was lost in 2004 to Jerry McNerney, a Pelosi puppet. Voter registration here is split evenly, 39% Rep, 39% Dem, and the rest are independents (or as we say here in Cali, Decline to State). The anger here is unbelievable, I hear it everywhere. People are fed up and McNerney is running real scared. As an example, he had a town hall in Danville CA just a week after Calderon addressed the US congress and damned Arizona’s immigration legislation. He was asked if he was one of the Democrats that stood and applauded Calderon, his answer, and I quote: ” I don’t remember”. Sniveling coward can’t even take responsibility for his own actions.
