The muddled response – or really, really badly executed Clinton-style triangulation – of the won has given a lot of Democratic Congressional candidates major headaches in an already toxic political environment for them:
President Obama’s seemingly conflicting responses over the construction of a mosque near Ground Zero demonstrate another example of the tone-deaf nature of the White House, politicians on both sides of the aisle are suggesting as the remark raises the prospect of another sticky election issue for lawmakers this November.
The issue of whether to build the thirteen-story Park 51 mosque and Islamic cultural center in lower Manhattan — two blocks from where the Twin Towers fell — is one that Democrats don’t need on their plates right now as they try to defend their economic policies and the new health care law ahead of what is expected to be pivotal a midterm election.
Get this straight, Democrats: The only politician that Barack Obama is concerned about is Barack Obama. The only thing you need to realize is that when Obama says he has your back, he is running with scissors right behind you.
The won did not have to get involved in this matter at all. He personally chose to get involved. His ego told him to reach down and meddle in what he could have walked away from. His “allies” get to pay the price and answer to their constituents. They get to field questions from now until election day on where they stand on this issue.
Because he has your back Democrats!
Just don’t stumble or stop short. Remember what he’s running with back there.

I think you are quite right about 0bama worrying only about 0bama.
He is flipping US the middle finger, big time.
He has a long history of throwing insults and has made clear his preference for Islam in the past.
The support for the Victory Mosque is totally in character for him.
Democratic politicians always do this to their party. Had Bill Clinton done the honorable thing and resigned in 1998, President Gore would have handily won the 2000 election. Instead, he fooled the left into believing that covering for his lying was refusing to roll over for the republicans, rather than abetting his criminal behavior. Bill won, the Democrats lost.
Who’s the stupid party?
