Dim And Dimmer

Nancy Pelosi doubles down on insulting the vast – and apparently growing – number of voters who fully recognize the right of the developers of the “Ground Zero Mosque” to build it there, while completely conviced that is is wrong for them to do so.

…Which brings me to something I’ve been thinking about all day: Has there been any dumber statement uttered by a major American politician this year than Pelosi calling for mosque opponents to be investigated  for their thoughtcrime? In the thick of a brutal midterm campaign, with a supermajority of voters nationwide opposed to the mosque and the GOP already out to unprecedented leads on the generic ballot, facing a conservative narrative that the Democratic elite is power-mad, out of touch, and utterly contemptuous of the American public — she goes and pulls this. It’s so insane that, after I first read the quote, I was momentarily paranoid that there was some deep strategic brilliance to it that I was completely missing. But after thinking about it another five seconds, nope — she really is this wacky….

She dares to attack the right of Americans to exercise their right to free speech? This is a Speaker of the House?

There are some investigations that need to happen, but investigating the opposition to the mosque isn’t where they should start. At all.

Here’s a message to every one of the supermajority of voters who Nancy Pelosi just insulted – repeatedly: A vote for any Democrat is a vote to keep this woman in office as Speaker. She’s called the Tea Party members un-American, now this.

A vote for any Democrat is a vote for Pelosi.

Yeah, she really is that wacky. Let’s not continue to allow the Democrats to enable her, shall we?

Get organized, get involved, get the vote out. Get them – and her – out.

This is going to be a steam cleaning year for government at ALL levels. No Democrats at any level of government. It has gotten so that I am even checking the political donations of candidates for “non partisan” offices.

Queen Nancy has resided in the world of pay-to-play for so long that I don’t believe she can even conceive the notion of an opposition resisting on principle.

The Malkin link helps illustrate my point.
