A Message To The “Elites”

Ignore this at your own risk.

This is a huge turnout. Forget the minimal numbers being reported by the Obama wing of the MSM. Forget the attempts to demonize and denigrate the people who attended. This is a strong message to the self-proclaimed “elites” that the times, they are a changin’.

If the “elites” are too stupid to get this message, so be it.

But I bet there are a lot of very, very nervous politicians right now. The Obama wing can’t spin this enough to hide the truth. It’s too big. Those who attended or watched will get the truth out. And the already failing left wing media will suffer even more losses to their almost completely exhausted trust capital.

No, they have actually been in a truth deficit for quite some time, haven’t they? Well, this attempted spin might finally put them into junk bond status.

    Gaius –

    I’m hearing:

Crowd estimates near 1/2M. The C-SPAN viewer numbers were somewhere just over half that, if not more.

Sharpton rolled into town in a huge limo and spoke to possibly a couple thousand who looked annoyed and quite possibly many were from the DC area anyway. Boo-hoo …

From the WaPo, the dems ARE quaking at this:

[…] Still, Democrats preempted the rally by launching a Friday offensive designed to cast Republicans as extremists beholden to the tea party agenda. Rep. Chris Van Hollen (Md.), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, assailed Republicans for pursuing a “destructive agenda” and called out the tea party movement for pushing the GOP to the “extreme right.” And the Democratic National Committee released an online video featuring tea party favorites: Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle, Kentucky Senate candidate Rand Paul and other Republicans. The video was titled “GOP Tea Party: These People Could Be in Charge.” […]

I can see November from my house.

BTW, IF the MSM goes with anywhere NEAR the 1/2M number with this rally it sure as hell makes their 9/12 estimates from nearly a year ago look extremely piss-poor.

Liberal math, n`nat … Only a matter of time before it comes back and bites them in the ass.

  3. Gaius says:

It will bite in November. CBS just reported that there were 87,000 at the event. Really. Must be new math.

The truth will out, despite the lies. And the votes will tell the real story.

It’s impossible to say how many people attended, I’ve seen pictures on the Internet, but I’m waiting for confirmation from Baghdad Bob.

  5. ropelight says:

For each and every individual who attended Beck’s gathering in DC, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands, more who share similar sentiments but for a variety of reasons remained at home and watched on TV.

Since a trip to the neighborhood voting booth isn’t nearly so burdensome an excursion, many more voters will show up at the next demonstration of our discontent.
