I have just finished upgrading to the latest version of WordPress. I also added SiteLock to the site to protect it – and my readers – from malware. The site tests clean and the SiteLock logo is now on the sidebar. The site will be scanned daily to ensure nothing nasty has installed itself here.
I have not changed the theme as it appears to be fully functional under the new updates.
Please let me know if everything is working for you, or if you find any bugs or problems. I tested the comments and they appear to be working as far as I can tell.

I love that new banner. As soon as I saw it it reminded me of a picture my Grandmother had hanging on her dining room wall when I was a child. I used to imagine it was what it looked like in Hungary when she told me about her childhood.
Besides, it’s already been a long cold winter here in NEOhio and that looks so delightfully warm and wonderful a stroll to take …
On a sidenote, Gaius … I write for two blogs (Chandler’s Watch, which is down right now … and Babalu Blog) so you have my email addy up top. If you ever find yourself in a pinch for time and energy just feel free to give me a shout.
I figured a facelift was in order…
Seems to be working fine for me, and I like the new banner.
OK, Gaius, here’s my suggestion: You need a bunch of wild animals behind every (other?) tree. The Animal Uprising is REAL, as you know, and one of the reasons I come here.
Particularly penguins!. Sure, they look all hoity-toity in their tuxedo-like finery, but we all know about the “gentleman” jewel thieves and “people above suspicion” crime bosses. They have top hats they got from Oddjob’s hatter, and their walking sticks are sword canes, likely with concealed one-shot pistol barrels.
I can’t take credit for the image, it comes with the theme. Since folks seem to like it, I’ll leave it up for a while.
Who knows what marvels Photoshop will yield in the future, Sam.
Animals? How about a Navy SEAL sniper behind every tree …
Oh, sorry. Thinking out loud again.
OK, Gaius. I wait with fish-baited breath.
