That we have far, far too many people with far, far too much time on their hands. People are claiming that the pictures from Curiosity are proving UFOs, animals and various and sundry other things dot the Martian landscape and skyline.
No, really? Everything you read on the internet isn’t true?
Unfortunately, the completely reasonable explanations of why these “objects” are not actually there will lead to even more people with far, far too much time on their hands to screech, “Conspiracy!!!!!”. (Note the five exclamation points.)
I’m still amazed that they landed yet another probe, but still managed to have the cameras at the wrong angles to spot the ruined Martian cities.
Drat the luck.
On the other hand, the Martians didn’t shoot this one down….
