There are Leaders…

…And there are followers. Mitt Romney went to Louisiana today. The 0ne will follow along on Monday.

Mitt Romney made an impromptu trip Friday to Louisiana to survey the damage left by Hurricane Isaac, three days ahead of a Labor Day visit to the area planned by President Barack Obama.

At the invitation of Louisiana’s governor, fellow Republican Bobby Jindal, the presidential candidate and a small cadre of reporters traveled through Jean Lafitte, La., to view water damage and meet with first-responders.

On Friday morning, the White House announced that Mr. Obama, who hasn’t yet visited storm victims, would scrap a Monday campaign event in Cleveland to visit Louisiana. Obama officials said the president’s Monday trip was already in the works when they learned of Mr. Romney’s plan to visit.

Translation: “We scrambled to limit the damage when we found out that Mitt beat us again.”

They really think the voters are dumb. Actually, they are the ones who are not all that bright. The should have announced several days ago that the 0ne was going. But Louisiana has a very popular republican governor – it’s rather obvious what they were thinking.

But notice: they are reacting to Romney now. Mitt’s inside their decision loop now. Funny how an empty chair can cause the 0ne to unravel.

Mitt’s looking better and better. And more likeable, too.

    I have a couple of liberal-leaning in-laws in LA. I hope they’re paying attention.
