The 0ne’s campaign has vowed to fill a big venue for his speech this week, despite the decidedly underwhelming crowds he’s been attracting all through the campaign so far. In fact, they’re so confident that they’ll fill the venue that they’re giving away free tickets in bars.
Thankfully, the Obama campaign has worked around the issue. An e-mail sent Thursday night to the DeKalb County, GA Democratic party enlightens us to their strategy. Below is an excerpt from the e-mail. [Emphasis mine]
“Everyone who is at Manuel’s Tavern or the Bibb County Democratic Party by noon is eligible for two tickets. Arrive early if you want, but it won’t give you a better chance to win. Just be there by 12 noon!“
One hopes republicans are grabbing up tickets whenever they are offered like this. Then shredding them.
But seriously, this stinks of sheer desperation, doesn’t it? Judging by what I’ve seen of the turnouts for both campaigns, the 0ne has reason to fear that his presidency is too failed to fill a big venue.

Don’t shred! Go! Heckle!
Actually, pretty dangerous given the left’s violent tendencies. Better to damn them with empty chairs. Eastwood them.
