Refusing the Squirrel

Ann Romney refuses to play the Squirrel! game with a local reporter who decides to play that game rather than trying for an actual, you know, interview.

Mrs. Romney said, in reference to questions on birth control and gay marriage, “really if you want to try to pull me off of the other messages it’s not going to work.”

“I’m going to talk to you about the economy and about job creation and about how my husband is the right person for the right time,” Mrs. Romney said.  “This is going to be an election that is very important for women, and we are going to make sure that their economic prosperity is more certain under a President Romney.”

Gee, sorry, Mr. Nelson. You just look like a leftist tool. Ann Romney makes you look smaller than you already are.

I’ve been saying all along that the key to this race is to refuse to play Squirrel! on the left’s terms. Talk about the real issue. The one issue that really matters to this country.

Ann Romney gets it.

One Response to Refusing the Squirrel

  1. Mockingbird says:

Good for Ann Romney. She’s right about the election. Our crisis today is about jobs and the economy. Nelson is a tool.
